Matthew B. Harris

Matt Harris joined Provident in 2000 and now leads multi-family development for the company, ranging from luxury apartments to workforce housing. Provident’s current multi-family portfolio of 12 projects totaling 2,700 units is concentrated in North Texas but also includes replacement workforce housing in New Orleans, Louisiana. Harris has also been involved in the development and management of office properties, shopping centers, self-storage facilities and land developments.

Harris earned a M.A. in Land Economics and Real Estate, as well as a B.S. from Texas A&M University. He is an affiliate member of the Appraisal Institute has appraised commercial and residential properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
