Julian "Jay" Hawes

Jay Hawes joined Provident in 2001 and is responsible for managing and expanding Provident’s land and residential development activities. Among Provident’s notable master-planned projects under Hawes supervision are 1,600-acre Woodcreek in Fate, Texas and 1,000-acre Paloma Creek in Denton County, Texas. Hawes also leads the company’s efforts in planning, zoning and land development, often using creative approaches such as Fresh Water Supply Districts to yield superior infrastructure and neighborhood services.

Hawes is a 1982 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in finance.
