Regarding retail, Provident is interested in pursuing the following acquisitions:

Grocery Anchored: We will consider Class A neighborhood and community retail centers.  Regional or national credit grocery anchor is required.  Shadow anchored centers are also of interest.

Retail Power Centers: Properties should be well located with strong demographics and have Class A national credit big box tenants with long-term leases.

We know retail. At the core of our business from the very beginning, retail development remains vitally important to Provident. Initially intensive land planning and market research identify the most desirable and accessible sites. Secondarily, we build excellent relationships and partnerships with some of the nation's largest and best-known retailers. And finally, we recognize the uniqueness of communities and work closely with the local officials and neighborhood groups to create developments compatible with the vales of the local area. Our goal is to create high quality developments that enhance the communities we serve while being profitable to both our customers and our investors.
